Team chat
Your people talking to each other. A thread can hang off a job, a customer or an estimate, so the argument about whether a job needs a second technician lives on that job rather than in a group chat nobody can search in six months.

This is your team only. Nothing written here can reach a customer, and nothing a customer sends arrives here — calls, texts, live chat and email live in the customer inbox, which is a separate screen on purpose. A dispatcher should never be one tab away from sending a private remark to a homeowner.

What you can do here
Angela Mora is Admin in this channel. What follows is set by their job role, Dispatcher, and applies in every channel.
- Create a channel anyone can joinYes
- Create a private channelYes
- Invite somebodyYes
- Remove somebodyYes
- Archive a channelYes
- Delete a messageNo
- Notify everyone at onceYes
- Export the historyNo
These are your shop’s settings, not ours. An owner changes them in Settings, and they apply everywhere — a technician who cannot remove people from a channel cannot do it from the phone either.
How long this is kept
Team messages are business records. They are kept for as long as your account is open, they are in your export, and an owner can search them. A deleted message is hidden and kept for 90 days, because “who said the panel was fine” is a question that gets asked after something goes wrong, not before.
